The Bull Public House in Peterborough is holding the Cambridgeshire Conker and Snail Racing Championship from 12 noon on Saturday 13th Octover 2012!
All proceeds donated to Sue Ryder and Strathcarron Hospices.

Come and meet Mugly The World's Ugliest Dog (as seen on T.V.) Gumby Conker Tree, the Cambridgeshire Conker Championship Mascot. Peter Burrow the Peterborough United Football Club Mascot & Cookie Conker Monster.

Conker Registration closes 1.00 pm, Championship starts 1.15 pm
Snail Racing Heats start - 1.00 pm to 3.15 pm (at 15 min intervals)
There will be three age groups, age 5-9, age 10-15 and age 16+.
Entry Fee: £2.00 Conkers will be provided.
Cambridgeshire Conker and Snail Racing Finals - 3.30 pm to 4.00 pm
Entrants may bring their own snails (with the exception of large African Land Snails!) Entry fee for the heats will be £1.00 per entry
Trophies, Medals & Certificates Awarded to the Winners
Unofficial Guinness World Record Attempt - 4.30 pm to 5.30 pm
The unofficial Guinness World Record attempt is by Ady Hurrell to smash his way past the current record of 306 conkers in one hour, which is currently held by Eamonn Dooley from Freshford, Ireland.
